Romanian delegation visits Afvalzorg

On November 2th a delegation of several Ministries responsible for the Sectoral Operational Programme  Environment 2007-2013 of Romania visited Afvalzorg in Nauerna. The object of the visit is part of a programme to improve implementation efficiency of environmental investments in Romania such as new landfill sites.

During the visit to Afvalzorg, knowledge was shared on landfill construction, operation, redevelopment, landfill gas projects, emission control and sustainable landfilling through a presentation by Richard Gronert and Joost Bouman, followed by a tour on landfill Nauerna.
